The chain

From the water to your screen

Four hops. Only one of them needs the internet, and it is the one sitting safely on a rooftop rather than standing in a flood.

01 · SENSOR

The node

An ultrasonic sensor looks down at the water. Solar and battery, no mains, no SIM.

02 · RADIO

433 MHz LoRa

A 16-byte packet carries level, danger mark and full height. Kilometres of range on milliwatts.

03 · GATEWAY

The receiver

Sounds the siren if the water passes the mark, and pushes readings up to Aquaiots.

04 · CONSOLE

This website

Live level, history and alerts, from any phone or computer with a connection.

Why Aquaiots

Built for monsoon, not for a demo

Every choice assumes patchy internet, no mains power at the water and a flood on the way.

A siren that never waits

The receiver decides from the last three packets, on the spot. The siren does not depend on the internet or on this website.

Works offline, too

The receiver keeps its own dashboard, indicator light and siren going when the broadband is down.

River or tank

The sensor knows which it is watching. This site relabels itself to match: danger mark for a river, overflow for a tank.

Your device is your key

Sign in with the eight-character key your receiver prints, plus a PIN. We never ask for your WiFi name or password.

Private by design

Our support staff can see whether your node is online. They cannot see your water readings, and your PIN is never stored in a readable form.

Solar at the water

The sender runs on a panel and a cell, with no mains, no SIM and no internet at the riverbank.
